Pricing for gender-affirming services includes preoperative testing, surgery, as well as hospital fees. Additional costs ($1000) may arise for cases requiring extended recovery room time (>8 hours) or an overnight stay, which will be mandatory if patients do not have a chaperone with them.
Gender-affirming service will not be billed to insurance and will be Self-Pay which means the patient will be solely responsible for payment in its entirety. The cost includes a $250 non-refundable reservation fee due at the time of scheduling. This non-refundable fee will be deducted from your total balance. If for some unforeseen circumstance, the initial service must be rescheduled there is a one-time grace cancellation allowed on this amount. Also, the total balance must be paid in full two (2) weeks prior to the service or the service will be canceled. Any cancellation due to lack of payment will result in forfeiture of the reservation fee.
The amount stated above is an all-inclusive rate and the patient will not receive any additional bills directly related to this service. Patients will be responsible for any unforeseen urgent or emergent services that may occur during the time of the service which would then be billed under patient insurance.
Patients who choose to self-pay for in-office procedures listed above will be charged at the time of their visit. Self-pay procedures will not be submitted to the patient’s insurance. Pricing for self-pay procedures will only include costs for the procedure visit, but not any pre-procedure evaluation or post-procedure follow-up visits.
